SERVING the HOMELESS in DENVER



 

This past Saturday, we had the opportunity to share the gospel with the homeless in Denver, offer them food, and the opportunity to change their life not only spiritually but physically if they wanted to join the local Denver Rescue Mission and turn their life around.  We made around 50 bags for the homeless.  The bags included food snacks, scripture, bibles, socks, and toiletries.



We scattered amongst a Denver park and prayed that the Lord would move through us with love and words to share the gospel to everyone we encountered weather they were homeless or not.  We met some incredible people who were very receptive to us and others that were not.  However we were able to pray with everyone we met.  We trust and know that the Father is able to open anyone's eyes to see His truth.  We look forward to going next month and seeing some of the same faces. 

 

One man in particular by the name of Charles, was very interested in knowing who Christ was and desired to turn his life around.  We are hopeful and look forward to seeing him at the Denver Rescue Mission soon!
