Yorkies & Fairwells

Not one of the friends could say that we are together & pursuing the Lord based on our own merits, efforts or as result of righteous living. God's love & mercy is what saw us together in the first place & it is why the desire to travel to Haiti has sprouted from a seed of thought to a living & real thing. This is all out of the overflow of God's love; our community, our love for one another & freedom to live the Gospel.

This love has seen a small group of friends steadily grow in number & in courage to live wildly for Jesus. Good gifts have been raining down. Together we have celebrated birthdays, run fundraisers, gone on church retreats, served at church retreats, fed the homeless, brought old friends & new acquaintances to hear the word of God &, perhaps greatest of all, felt that joy & love that Jesus came to fill us with. It is spilling over in our lives this very day.

Out of all we have done in the passed few years there is something entirely new we have faced, seeing our good friend, Jordan, off to follow the Lord's will for her. While we sit in the tension of missing her & all the love she poured out for us, the joy is still overwhelming.

We sent her out with prayer, s'more roasting, yorkie triplets & encouragement as she moved to Tennessee for school. Tennessee is gaining someone truly beautiful & the Lord surely wanted a light to be pulled into that place. We will miss Jordan while she is gone but it is only possible to miss someone if you love them. So I speak for all of us when I say Jordan will be missed.
