“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation. His own

special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of

darkness into His marvelous light.” (1 Peter 2:9)  He chose us. What a beautiful God we get to serve daily. This verse inspires me to live purposeful, with a desire to love like He loves, and to live passionately through my Jesus! He gave us this life to live, but called us to share the most amazing story of all… HIS!  This has not always been my way of life or the decisions I have made, but by God’s grace, He has allowed me to see how much I need Him. That without Him this world is a sad place, full of people trying to survive, trying to stay alive at whatever the cost may be, but with Him we get life to the fullest!  This summer I have an amazing opportunity to serve alongside some incredible individuals, to a place with beautiful people that need Jesus. I am honored and excited to see what God does during this time. We get to embark together, experiencing the raw truth of poverty and suffering, yet sharing the most powerful story every told that will change lives forever. I truly am humbled to take part in this trip, and to see God work in ways unimaginable.
